Welcome to the New Age Precision Brazing, Inc. Website!  NEW AGE PRECISION BRAZING's President and Owner, Mario Costa, took over one of the most prestigious pioneers in dip brazing, A.A Jacobsen Bros., Inc. in March of 2004. The employees are specialists in dip brazing, heat treating and welding. After 40 years of experience they are able to help with design changes or provisions which will facilitate manufacture that can lead to cost reduction.
Aluminum dip brazing allows for the design of components that would ordinarily be impossible because of excessive cost or extreme thermal distortion if heliarc or torch welding was the process used. Brazing integrally joins detailed aluminum extrusions, castings and forgings on machined pieces and makes them into permanent assemblies. After placing aluminum alloy filler between sections to be joined, the assembly is dipped in a molten flux which induces the capillary flow of the alloy. Configurations, no matter how complex, are perfectly joined during this dip brazing process regardless of how many joints are involved. Because brazed assemblies are uniformly heated to the brazing temperature and then allowed to cool at an even rate, distortion is eliminated and metals of diverse thickness are joined with a permanent bond.
The bulk of New Age Precision Brazing's business comes from government and aerospace contractors as well as electronic and medical firms throughout the United States. NAPB has received a grant from New York State to train our employees for NADCAP and ISO 9001. At the present time we are installing new ovens equipped with state of the art Controllers and Recorders.
The process of Aluminum Dip Brazing is limited only by a lack of vision.
